Working at Kromachem
Application Chemist [South Manchester - UK]
We currently have a new vacancy in our application laboratory. Kromachem sells Monomers and Oligomers for Radiation Curing coatings applications. Formulating these coatings can be quite a challenge, and our customers often ask for assistance to understand the principals behind such formulations. Our laboratories are equiped with coating equipment for wood, metal, gless and plastics, as well as printing equipment for all kinds of substrates. You will work alongside a team of chemists to expand our own understanding of the coating formulations, as well as to demonstrate and find applications for new products. We are looking to recruit a chemist with a naturally curious, inquisitive, (courteously) challenging and logical nature, good communication skills and a strong accademic background.
Although a degree in Chemistry is the obvious choice, applicants with degrees in Natural Science, Biology, Marine Biology, Physics, Geology, Maths or related technical subjects would bring welcome alternative perspectives to the company.
